Nikola Zsurikova

Nikola Zsurikova is a young and very motivated artist with lot of creativity. She has a great eye for detail and everything art related. Her style is believed to be special in many ways:
“I love to catch the reality with my eyes and to apply to my canvas, but nut just the reality
i use to make combinations of realism and abstraction. I love the contrast and the game with colours.”
She was born and grew up in Bratislava/Slovakia in 1987 – where before she could walk she was already painting!
In 1993 – 2001 she went to Saint Vincent de Paul and Saint Cecil elementary school of art, Bratislava, Slovakia.

Nikola has won International competitions and had exhibitions even while still at elementary school. One international competition involved designing a postcard with the theme “The Holy Trinity” which went to the Vatican in Italy.

In 2001 – 2005 Nikola was successfully accepted on School of applied arts, Josef Vydra, Bratislava, Slovakia where she was studying restoration of art objects, which range from wood to gypsum. Her time at Joseph Vydra was very useful and she progressed her skills in painting and many technical techniques. She worked with many materials and learned the technology of restoring, colours and pigments. Nikola also learned the basics of photography as well.

After graduation Nikola was successfuly accepted on Slovak Technic, University of architecture, Bratislava, Slovakia, from 2005 – 2006 to study architecture and urban landscaping. Although Nikoa loves architecture she found it far to technical and less artistic, as a result, she decided to discontinue her studies there.

In 2007 – 2008 she went on to study at the University Of Central Europe, Skalica, Slovakia. Here she studied International relations and Diplomacy.

Budapest, Hungry: Nikola worked in the PR department for a few brands such as Ed Hardy, Paco Chicano by Christian Audigier, Style & Butler and for an entertainment company – but mainly focusing on her art life where she had the opportunity to do exhibitions in Budapest and Paris but unfortunately she didn’t have enough funds to realise it.

At present, Nikoa lives in Paris, France and is working on new art projects which will have International Utilization.
